I would like to focus my article on Australian beach culture, because I think it is a good representation of Australia. I think beach culture is a good thing because it invites all ages, groups and races to become involved. It represents the easy-going, and laid-back lifestyle that most people think of when Australia comes to mind. I would like to use Noosa as my example of Australian beach culture because at any one time you have surfers, families, teens, elderly, lifeguards, fishermen and tourists all in the one area having a good time. I will use quotes from an elderly couple that have been coming to Noosa  for the last 30 years and now have semi-retired there. They will say how well it represents what they think it means to be Australian. Australian beach culture encourages a healthy, fit lifestyle that all should strive for, and I will include this in my article. I will use the positioning techniques Language Choice, Point of view, Imagery and Repetition to help form my article.
